Happy Valentine's Day! To celebrate the day on automatism, I'm having my first ever giveaway — a lovely little jar of RĂªve de Miel lip balm by Nuxe:

This is a personal fave of mine. The main ingredients of acacia honey and shea butter moisturize beautifully, and the grapefruit essence gives it a heavenly scent, too. All this makes it perfect for getting your lips in shape for romantic encounters! For a chance to win, leave a comment below telling me what your favourite romantic movie is (and your email address or a link to your blog so I can contact you, too). The deadline to enter is midnight of Friday, February 20, and the randomly chosen winner will be announced on Monday, February 23. Good luck!

My favourite romantic movie is Dirty Dancing. I just love how the handsome guy falls in love with the slightly nerdy, normal girl who wants to help people. I first watched it when I was ten, and I watch it every year on Valentine's Day.
The Notebook for sure.. its such a sweet story, and my grandma who has just recently left us, had dementia, my grandpa didn't - so it was just the same. I used to think about The Notebook when I'd listen to grandpa telling things over and over to grandma. Such devotion.
My favorite Romantic Movie is "Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind" because it shows the power of memory and how their love is stronger than memory. Its complex, chaotic, and beautiful.

I believe my favorite is Roman Holiday. In fact, I would LOVE to watch it right now! Thank you for the giveaway.
Happy Valentine's Day! I don't watch a lot of romantic movies, but I think my favourite might be The Princess Bride.

What a sweet idea. My favorite romantic movies is "A Room With a View." Helena Bonham-Carter and Julian Sands kissing in a Tuscan wheat field (set to Puccini) has to be the most beautiful love scene ever made.
I have so many romantic movies that I love - but my favorite is probably The Philadelphia Story. Katherine Hepburn, Cary Grant, Jimmy Stewart.....you just can't top that!
When Harry Met Sally.

I love old musicals: South Pacific, Oklahoma, The King and I. Also, always enjoy You've Got Mail and Sleepless in Seattle.

My favourite romantic movie is Jean-Pierre Jeunet's "A Very Long Engagement" A young french woman won't believe her fiance died in
WW1 and launches a 4 year investigation to find him.
I found some pictures of French soldiers from the Great War at an auction and I constantly dwell on them. I was able to confirm some of their names and unfortunately - dates of death.
So... this movie is pretty touching for me.

I love romantic movies! If I had to select a single favorite it would be Pride and Prejudice, with all of its life lessons, humorous scenes and touching moments. It's a classic.
Oh well. I love Eternal Sunshine & Roman Holiday & own both (I own very few). But I have to be true & say Casablanca. I cry every single time. Every year when it plays at the AFI Silver Theatre near my apartment, I go. Huge Deco theatre.
My grandparents were not refugees but were quite involved in the war; my great-grandfather a member of the Resistance under cover in France. I didn't have a chance...it has to be Casablanca for me. xo, Susan/GG
you've got mail. i can't stand tom hanks or meg ryan but i saw it in the theatre with a highschool crush and the memory of all that fresh new love is so fun to think about. remember when it was a huge deal just to hold hands with someone? or was that just me?

Les Parapluies de Cherbourg is one of the best romantic movies of all time! Plus it's a musical.

My all time favorite is Wuthering Heights with Laurence Olivier and Merle Oberon.
Thanks for the opportunity!

I would say Amelie. Well, lots of French movies are romantic with the language alone. But I love the chase and capture of love in this movie. Not only with Amelie but with all the characters and maybe the little gnome too.
Notes on a Scandel with Judie Dench
-guess that would do me
